If he wouldn't have been there, I would've stopped playing flute in 6 months. Siddhesh Sir has a very cool temper and thirst of teaching his students flute in a right way. I would recommend to every student who is beginner and mid-level in flute playing. Siddesh sir is extremely patient with all of his students irregardless of how well they can play the flute.
He takes all lessons at an appropriate pace, not too slow, not too fast and also offers choice to the students as to what they want to practice. He is always telling us to find our own inspiration and makes no move as to discourage anyone. Sir's patience, the way of teaching, and above all, the care for the learning of students makes the environment even more comfortable for us. You will be taught as per your requirements, it's definitely specific to your level of understanding.
It was the first time for me learning any musical instrument and hence I can say, whatever is your age, whatever is your knowledge of flute, even if null, you will learn a great deal under Sir's guidance. I learned to play flute from Mr. He took eight sessions wherein he covered the basics, Alankars, Bhoop Raag, Taal, etc. He covered the above-mentioned sessions using the straight flute and concluded the session with an introduction to side flute. I enjoyed learning from him.
He is well experienced in playing the flute Hindustani style. Students who do not have any prior knowledge regarding flute can go for him without any second thought. Really nice and fun person. Was very patient and had sound knowledge of what he was teaching. Learnt a lot of things from him apart from music. Looking forward to learn more from him. There was a great learning and most importantly I didn't loose motivation to play with your constant support. He is a great tutor, with lot of patience he understands where we do wrong and correct it on the same time, had a great experience, wish to continue to attend more classes in future.
